Registration has opened for the 2024 “Bunny Hop 5K,” a fund-raising effort in support of social-safety-net organizations and sponsored by Clarendon United Methodist Church.
Designed for all ages, the event will be held on Saturday, April 13 beginning at 8 a.m. at the church, 606 North Irving St. in Arlington. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to come in Easter-themed costumes or finery.
Over the past six years, the event has raised nearly $110,000 for charitable organizations. The 2024 beneficiary will be Bridges to Independence, which provides shelter services and support to local residents.
